CNC Milling Specifications
CNC milling at Demak® utilizes advanced 3-axis and 5-axis machining centers, engineered for intricate geometries and ultra-tight tolerances. Our equipment maintains consistent spindle speeds and feed rates to minimize tool deflection and ensure high repeatability across batch production.
Supported materials include aerospace-grade aluminum alloys (2024, 6061, 7075), stainless steels (304, 316, 17-4PH), titanium, engineering plastics, and select high-performance alloys. All incoming materials are verified against AMS and ASTM specifications for traceability and compliance.
Achievable precision levels routinely reach ±0.005 mm (±0.0002 in) for critical features and datums. In-process and final inspections are performed using calibrated CMM and optical measurement systems. Comprehensive documentation and certificate packages are available upon request to support defense and aerospace qualification processes.
Precision Turning Specifications
Demak®’s precision turning capability utilizes advanced CNC lathes, equipped with live tooling and sub-spindle configurations. These machines accommodate complex, multi-axis turning processes for the efficient production of both simple and intricate rotational parts.
Parts produced include fasteners, bushings, shafts, spacers, threaded inserts, custom fittings, connectors, and precision pins. We support both standard and custom forms, in inch and metric dimensions, for defense and aerospace hardware that require strict conformance and repeatability.
Turning operations are performed to meet or exceed applicable standards, including ASME B1.1/B1.13M for threads, NAS and MS part series, and customer flowdown specifications for critical tolerances. All production is traceable, verified with calibrated measurement equipment, and supported by full inspection documentation upon request.
